December 9, 2008 McMinnville City Council approves Policy Plan 180.50 The City of McMinnville supports local sustainability andendorses the utilization of proven and innovative energy efficientdesign and construction technologies to reduce building heat-gain, lowerenergy consumption and lessen pollutant output.
There will be no Cool Mac meeting in December as we celebrate the holidays with friends and family, but we continue to work behind the scenes to help make Year 2009 a memorable one! Cool Mac will continue to work with the city of McMinnville in collecting data for the city’s carbon footprint analysis. In followup to the Community Forum, we’ll be working with other groups to help plan events to continue building our community in a sustainable way. Stay tuned!
