Climate Change and Green Jobs in the New Economy

Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm

Climate Change is big news and citizens, workers, unions, and businesses have a big stake in this important issue.

How can communities work together to take advantage of the economic opportunities of a clean energy economy?

How can we assure a just transition with protections for workers in traditional manufacturing jobs?

What steps can concerned citizens, workers, unions, and businesses take to create green jobs?

This will be a presentation by a panel of University of Oregon Labor Education Research Center trained union activists followed by a Q & A forum.
