Calling All Artists!

CoolMac News Add comments

Cool Mac is preparing for Turkeyrama, July 11 and 12. We have our booth space. Now we are looking for someone to create a sign (or poster or signboard or banner or whatever) made from recycled materials with our Cool Mac logo on it within a sunflower shape.  Or give us your ideas!

Our next Cool Mac meeting is this Saturday, June 21, at 9:30 a.m. at First Baptist’s Fireside Room, corner of Cowls and 1st Street. Please join us!

If you have any questions or suggestions, please comment to this posting…or come to our meeting!

We need help in Lafayette. Our city administrator and fire chief are planning on burning down a building this weekend even though citizens have volunteered to deconstruct. We have no voice about any matter here and we need help. Please visit http://www.lafayetteoregon.info for the rest of the story

Please contact me as soon as possible with suggestions on how to stop it.

    Thank you

  2. Ron Says:

Do you have a budget for your sign or are you looking for a donation?

  3. lgrove Says:

Ron, We do not have a budget at this time. We’re working on nonprofit status at this time. We’re hoping for a donation. Any ideas? Linda

I hear your angst, Angela. However, I don’t know what to advise you to do. Cool Mac is a group of citizens in McMinnville trying to work with the community here to educate and promote conscientious attitudes towards Climate Protection and Sustainability. Unfortunately, this is a slow process and things don’t happen as quickly as we’d like. I hope you can find the help you need in your pursuit of nurturing your city of Lafayette.
Please feel free to join us for a meeting sometime to learn more about what we do.
