The Yamhill Valley Peacemakers annual planning meeting will be held
this Saturday, Jan 10, from 9:45 AM to 3 PM at the Fireplace Room in
the First Baptist Church, 1st & Cowls, McMinnville. Along with the
traditional goal-setting process we will try some Peace Games, make
new signs for our monthly vigil (current focus keeping the Oregon
National Guard out of Iraq/Afghanistan), brown bag lunch and
presentations from community groups working on homelessness, soup
kitchen, community garden and other services. Anyone interested in
helping during the coming year is welcome.
