Cool Mac has a booth reserved for Turkeyrama. We hope to have some items(perhaps bookmark or hand fan) and literature to hand out and books to read. That’s about it, unless some of you have other good ideas you’d like to share. Now we could use some help manning the booth. If anyone has time available for a 2 or 3-hour slot on Friday or Saturday, please call or email me or John to let us know what times you could do it. We’d really like to have at least 2 people there at all times, so we could use some extra manpower. And it’d be wonderful to see some of you again! Here’s the list so far:
Friday:
11-2 John
2-5 Patty, Mick, and Billy
5-7 Linda
7-9? (May close at 7)
Saturday:
10-1 Lucy
1-4
4-7
7-9? (May close at 7)
Thanks! See you at Turkeyrama!

McMinnville City Council accepted Resolution No. 2008-20 authorizing ICLEI (Local Governments for Sustainability) membership and establishing the City of McMinnville as a partner in the Cities for Climate Protection Campaign sponsored by ICLEI.
A dozen or so Cool Mac’ers donning “Keep Mac Cool!” buttons (thanks Lucy!) were there to support this resolution. This is a great step forward. Please join us to keep the energy flowing at the next Cool Mac Meeting on June 21 at 9:30 a.m. at Fireside Room, First Baptist Church on 2nd and Cowls Street.
